Designed for conference centres and meeting spaces, the Optoma ZH450ST Laser Projector features a short-throw lens that supports a tight projection distance of anywhere between 3.2 metres and just 0.4 metres. This projector is also ideal in classrooms, offices and smaller lecture theatres, since it can simply be set up on a desk. Besides a password protected interface, a Kensington lock port has also been fitted so this projector can be securely installed and left where it is. Meanwhile, the support for Full-HD resolution guarantees that every detail is reproduced with crisp clarity, and the 4,200 lumen brightness level even ensures clear imaging in well-lit spaces.

The Optoma ZH450ST supplies two HDMI ports so that more than one external device can be connected up without having to mess with swapping cables and inputs - which is especially useful when the projector has been installed in a harder to reach spot or suspended from the ceiling. An RS232 port has also been fitted so that one or more projectors can be managed and controlled from a distance, but for less complex systems, a remote control also comes included as standard. A 15 Watt speaker has been integrated into the design, removing the need for an external sound system and, since the highly efficient on-board DuraCore laser boasts an extended lifespan and consumes up to 45% less energy than more traditional bulb-based projectors, this model presents a far greener option than previous Optoma designs. It even comes in packaging made from 50% recycled materials.
